Commissions

Let me start off by saying that crafting a personalized piece for you, particularly if it's your first collaboration with an artist, is an honor, as it brings me so much joy to know that my creation will enhance the harmony of your home and serve as a source of daily inspiration.

With that being said here are the things we need to know from each other in this process. Please email hello@yashivarobinson.com with everything mentioned below.

Where did you find me?

Knowing this helps me to establish any relationships you may have to previous collectors. Referrals help you and your connection for future purchases.

What are your references?

What is your favorite piece of mine & preferred artwork for style? This will give me an idea of the style that you have in mind and any other preferred elements that can be found within my body of work. Based on the image submitted please provide all details and things to highlight in your email brief.

Note: All explicit image submissions will not be approved and a refund will be processed.

Do you have a deadline?

If so please keep in mind other collectors may be ahead of you in addition to your deadline; my goal is to have this put out to you in a timely manner. If I can’t go ahead I will refer you to other artists with similar styles. Depending on the placement of your order on my waitlist I will let you know if it’s doable within my schedule; otherwise a refund will be processed.

What you can expect from me

Once approved for references, deadline & placement for your commissioned artwork, I will begin the creation process by sketching compositional elements. Afterwards this will be sent to you for approval.

Your painting will take somewhere between 2-6 weeks to be completed varying on style and waitlist placement. When I feel your painting is about 75% done I will email you progress photos. This is the ideal time for you to provide any feedback on changes you'd like to make. I will make any requested changes and present it to you for final approval. After that I will varnish, sign, and add hanging hardware. Unless we agree to something else, all commissions are painted on 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas and will come in a frame if requested.
